Eigen Shard (ES)

The Eigen Shard is an unlimited, on-chain token that is tied to your equipment. It is currently only obtainable by minting it.

Minting​

Eigen Shards must be minted with a minimum quantity of 50. Minting requires spending some Aptos Tokens (APT). The minting mechanism takes place in our customised smart contract such that it is pegged to the Aptos Token (APT) at a fixed number. The peg rate will be adjusted from time to time due to market conditions, and will be controlled eventually by the governance UND tokens.

Routing​

APT which are spent on minting will be used for 2 purposes:

  1. 50% of the APT will be sent to the team's treasury wallet to cover our operational and development expenses.
  2. The other 50% will be sent to a smart contract by UND buyback to reward users.

There may be plans to adjust the split.

Equipment Refinement​

Equipment can be upgraded to reach higher levels by burning some Eigen Shards. The number of shards used is determined by the equipment and equipment level.

Equipment Enhancement​

Equipment can be enhanced to a higher tier by burning some Eigen Shards. The number of shards used is determined by the equipment and equipment level.

Reforge​

Equipment can be reforged by destroying the current one, and in the process creates a new equipment with higher growth stats. The maximum possible stat would be higher, but the equipment level is reset to 0 and the tier is reset to Basic. Eigen Shards will be consumed in this process. The number of shards used is determined by the equipment.

Omni Cache​

The omni cache contains equipment of various types. Occasionally, there will be sales for users to buy equipment. Opening the Omni Cache requires spending Eigen Shards.
